Mission Hill Family Estate Martin’s Lane Riesling 2012

by | Jul 24, 2013

East Kelowna, Okanagan Valley, BC

Martin’s Lane is a special small-scale collaboration between Mission Hill winemaker John Simes and acclaimed German winemaker Fritz Hasselbach. Not quite the slopes of the Mosel, but these vines come from the steepest part of Mission Hill’s estate vineyard, composed of volcanic rock, clay and limestone. A lighter, crisp style, focused and juicy, with intense fragrant orange blossoms, herbed Anjou pear and a nimble, zippy acidity.
