The line is drawn, pick your side by depending on your location.

You might say: “Valentine’s Day is pretty much my favorite holiday ever.” You might live in:

Washington — Ready, set, splurge on an unforgettable evening of dining and dancing at the Palace Ballroom in Seattle. Four decadent courses promise to pair as well with their wines as the Seatown Rhythm and Blues Players will with the elegant dance floor. Oregon — Celebrate Día de los Enamorados with Andina in Portland. Andina is known especially for the aura of romance that hangs over Table 25, the site of many a successful proposal. On February 14, owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt promises the same charm will be cast across the entire restaurant. Dinner is sweetened with live music, a bottle of top-shelf Champagne or sparkling wine per couple, and the Suspiro de San Valentín dessert — inspired by a Peruvian love story. Singles, take 20% off your tab, and keep in mind that the bitterest of bittered drinks, the Angostura Collins, is on special. February 14, 5:00 pm—2:00 am || No reservations

Oregon — What better way to un-celebrate love than to celebrate pigs instead?
