In Preview: Cider Summit San Francisco

by | Apr 4, 2016

Over 120 ciders will be available at the third annual Cider Summit San Francisco on Saturday, April 23. The event will highlight both domestic and international ciders. Classic regional favorites and new limited edition ciders will be pourin’ all afternoon.

The Summit, hosted by Whole Foods Market will benefit The Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research, Berkeley Humane and the California Cider Association.

As in previous years the Cider Summit will be a hands-on experience. Cider producers and owners will guide participants through the tasting process and provide notes on each of the different ciders. Of course, because it wouldn’t be a cider festival without food pairings, Whole Foods Market will feature specially paired bites and sips. There will also be a “Dog Lounge” courtesy of Berkeley Humane as well as an event store with t-shirts and other various cider-themed goods.

It all happens from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Civil War Parade Ground at The Presidio.
