Fonte Coffee Roaster F2

by | Sep 8, 2014

Even for the most programmed of anti-morning folks, it can be good to mix up the a.m. routine with rotating coffee selections. More specifically with revolving monthly coffee beans from Seattle’s Fonté Coffee Roaster‘s Coffee of the Month program. Kicking off earlier this month, Fonté’s downtown Seattle café has launched the monthly offering, allowing and encouraging their regulars and guests to “explore, taste and discover” coffees new and notable to them from across the globe. Program members receive the month’s feature coffee at a discounted rate and are invited to the Coffee of the Month free tasting led by Fonté’s Master Roaster Steve Smith and Fonté team monthly.

With a September selection from Guatemala, the upcoming October pick is the F2, the award-winning blend primarily composed of Brazil beans from the Sul de Minas region for deep richness and cocoa tones, while three other coffees finish the blend with bright citrus and acidity along with a voluptuous body and complex core.

The Café Fonté celebrates its fifth anniversary this month with a four-course menu crafted by founding Chef Jason Wilson of Crush and Miller’s Guild and current Chef Kristofer Kalinczok. Both chefs will be in attendance to kick off the special anniversary menu on Friday, Sept. 19th, for a limited, single seating. The menu will be offered Sept. 19-21 with reservations taken 5-8:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and also includes special pricing on the F2 blend—for a sliver of the price at $5.55 for a half pound bag.
