Red Mountain AVA Alliance Block Party 2013

by | Aug 22, 2013

As Washington’s wine industry gears up for harvest season, Red Mountain AVA Alliance Block Party invites wine enthusiasts to spend a day on the eastern edge of the Yakima Valley, mingling with the experts while exploring over 1,200 vineyard acres and more than a dozen wineries on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Event participants can expect an educational day touring the vineyards either by car or the “little red trolley,” provided exclusively for Block Party ticket holders. While traversing around the vineyards, event goers can taste wine from participating wineries, while local winemakers, grape growers and vineyard owners provide guests with a bounty of industry information.

Red Mountain’s terroir also lends itself as the perfect environment for those looking to experience the event by foot. Enjoy the sights, smells and tastes you will encounter as you walk or hike through this handsome landscape.

Once you’ve had a chance to sip on some wine and acquaint yourself with Red Mountain’s enchanting vineyards, be sure to explore the unique seminars designed and provided by the winemakers themselves. The line-up includes a food pairing class, educational session on how to start a vineyard, and more.

Ticket holders also receive a limited edition wine glass, as well as wine storage access in the cold storage truck.

Red Mountain AVA Alliance Block Party invites you to swirl, sip, and taste your way through this exclusive and intimate look into Washington’s wine industry.
