Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort has partnered with Blue Spirits Distilling to bring you our next Keipi Dinner on Thursday, May 9th at 6pm in Kingfisher Restaurant. Chef Micah and the team at Blue Spirits have created a unique four course (plus more!) pairing menu for this event. For more information and the planned menu check out our events calendar for Sleeping Lady.
Our host will once again be John Heers, who will walk us through the 16 themed toasts of the Keipi, a tradition from the Republic of Georgia. John is the host of “Heavy Things Lightly” podcast, Director and Founder of First Things Foundation, a non-profit organization that generates momentum for the poor by assisting local visionaries in the quest for a better life. First Things works around the world including the Republic of Georgia. “Human relationships are the first thing necessary in any worthwhile project.”
A Keipi is a long table of good food and drinks, bustling conversation between friends, family, and strangers. Throughout the course of the meal and the different toasts, the table will become unified and strangers become friends and family through this shared experience.
