TeSóAria Vineyard and Winery 2013 Vermentino

by | Jul 16, 2014

Husband and wife dynamic duo, John and Joy Olson of TeSóAria Vineyard and Winery, are producing quality bottles of wine with the products of their Roseburg and Medford, Ore., vineyards. At 1,900-foot elevation, the 2013 Vermentino shows how these shallow, volcanic soils provide vines with the perfect nourishment which results in a hearty mineral kick. This fruity, white wine delivers nothing short of excellence with its light floral nose that precedes flavorful notes of sweet pie apple nectar, subtle hints of ginger, and a touch of lemon followed by the bite of an acidic finish. Since warmth truly brings these flavors forward, a glass of this Vermentino is the perfect addition to a relaxing, summer night—enjoy it at home, or at the Portland or Roseburg tasting rooms where you may be lucky enough to encounter the amiable couple that created the very delight you are sipping on.
