The Monical Drink Recipe, by: Tavern Law

by | Aug 31, 2011

Old World Flavor in Trendy Setting

Among the many unique drinks served at Tavern Law, Seattle’s Prohibition-era-inspired cocktail bar, the MONICAL COCKTAIL is one of the favorites. Created by chefs Brian McCracken and Dana Tough, the peaty taste of the Ardberg scotch intrigues the taste buds with its earthy flair, but as the flavors settle on your palette, the Calvados’ apple influence begins to dominate. The perfect choice on a chill night.

2 oz. Calvado

.5 oz. Lillet

.5 oz. Gomme Syrup

2 dashes Celery Bitters

Stir in an Ardberg rinsed glass.

Serve in a Nick and Nora glass.
