Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse

by | May 20, 2014

Can’t get your fill of Saanich, BC’s  Sea Cider scrumpies? Don’t worry—they’re currently hiring for servers in their ciderhouse so the cider pints could be ever flowing in your career future (off the clock of course). All are invited, employees and guests, to “come raise a glass” at the farm and orchard that flourishes along the stunning scenery of the Saanich Peninsula. Raise a glass full of Sea Cider’s proprietary blend, the Flagship cider. Credited as one of the only commercial ciders “free of added sulphites,” this cider is done with craftsmanship in mind—local, estate fruit, Champagne yeasts and slow, slow fermentation time. European in style (French cross German), the Flagship cider shows aromas of tart apple, apple skin, cinnamon spice and grapefruit citrus while the palate mimics the apple and high-tone citrus. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied and round in fruit, finishing bone dry and tart. Cheeeeese cider.
