Rogue Ales Hazelnut Brown Nectar

by | Jul 16, 2015

Founded in late 80s, Newport, Oregon’s Rogue Ales has become one of the biggest names in the craft beverage industry and currently dishes out dozens of styles of beer in addition to handfuls of spirits, ciders and sodas.

Their Hazelnut Brown Nectar features an almost opaque pour of reddish dark brown and a thick, creamy head wafting aromas of toasty malts, bitter hops, fresh baked bread and fresh cracked nuts. The first sip is very crisp with warm notes of dark chocolate and roasted espresso initially, but quickly transitions into an earthy and robust body with a subtle but unmistakable hazelnut haze and a sharp hoppy finish. Overall, HBN is a well-balanced brew offering a variety of flavors and notes for the whole palate to enjoy.
