ANEW 2014 Pinot Grigio

by | Jul 8, 2015

Founded in 2013 with just a Riesling to boot, Patterson, Washington’s ANEW Winery is produced by Chateau St. Michelle and produces light-bodied, fruit-forward wines. The young winery currently offers three wine varieties in very elegant custom bottles with a stylish diagonal indented slash in the glass, a simple yet striking floral logo and muted color scheme.

Their 2014 Pinot Grigio is a very clean and crisp wine that’s bright with well-balanced acidity. Said to be picked under “cool nighttime skies to preserve the variety’s bright, juicy style,” the body blossoms with a strong fruity palate of pear, raspberry and orange, with tropical fruits including pineapple and mango in the mix. This Pinot Grigio also features a vibrant floral bouquet of roses and jasmine. Enjoy it chilled on a hot summer night with a platter of fruits and cheeses.
