Will Make Holiday Shoppers and Wine Enthusiasts Merry with Savings on Wine Purchases, a Tree Lighting and Exclusive Wine Tasting

Woodinville Wine Country’s annual “Saint Nick’s Winter in Woodinville,” held Nov. 30 – Dec. 2 and now in its 12th year, has expanded its weekend offerings this season to make everyone merry with the addition of special savings on wine purchases at participating Woodinville wineries; a free community tree lighting; and the addition of an exclusive, ticketed Friday night wine tasting at Chateau Ste. Michelle.

Open House Weekend Sat, Dec. 1 – Sun., Dec. 2

Tickets are on sale now only at woodinvillewinecountry.com to the celebration’s marque event, a holiday Open House Dec. 1 – 2 from 11 am – 4 pm at 46 participating wineries.  In addition to live music, food carts, special tastings, a tote bag, tasting book and wine glass, ticket holders will also receive for the first time this year holiday swag and six coupons redeemable for case purchase discounts, 2 for 1 wine tastings and savings on tasting room gift items.  A two-day pass to the open house is $65; a Sunday ticket only is $50.  Designated drivers wearing a wristband issued at ticket pick-up are allowed entrance to the wineries at no cost.  For an additional fee, Shuttle Express will provide transportation between participating wineries.  Visit woodinvillewinecountry.com to learn more.

Tree Lighting & “St. Nick’s at Night” Tasting Nov. 30

To kick-off the celebration, the community is invited to enjoy live music, hot cider and a free tree lighting ceremony at Chateau Ste. Michelle, 14111 NE 145th St., Woodinville from 5:30 – 6:30 pm on Fri., Nov. 30.  Following the tree lighting that evening, a limited number of tickets remain to “Saint Nick’s at Night.”  For $50 per person, guests will enjoy sweet and savory bites along with special tastings from 45 Woodinville wineries, including many new and limited production vintners like Betz, Baer, Col Solare, DeLille, Efeste, Forgeron and Mark Ryan.  The Friday night tasting is from 7 – 9:30 pm at Chateau Ste. Michelle.
