Tickets are on sale today for 20something – The New Vintage, the popular wine tasting event for younger wine enthusiasts. 20something offers access to world-class wines and top restaurants in a relaxed atmosphere tailored to a younger audience, the perfect companion to the Taste Washington event which is held each spring. The annual 20something event takes place Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Fremont Studios in Seattle.
Tickets are $50 and are available online at www.thenewvintage.org or through BrownPaperTickets.com. More than 1,000 are expected to attend the event to wine, dine and rub elbows with sommeliers, winemakers, restauranteurs and sponsors. A full list of participating wineries, restaurants and hotel packages will soon be available at www.thenewvintage.org.
“This is an exciting time for the expanding Washington wine industry and 20something is a fantastic way to showcase the incredible wines, winemakers and culinary leaders in Washington state,” said Tom Norwalk, President & CEO of Seattle’s Convention and Visitors Bureau. “20something takes a different approach than Taste Washington by offering an informal event for a younger wine enthusiast.”
