Batch 206 See 7 Stars Peach Pie Moonshine

by | Oct 11, 2013

Distillery, event space, bottle shop, part-time spirits educational institution—Seattle’s Batch 206 has taken the responsibility of bringing booze to the people ever since the Washington Craft Distillery legislation was enacted in July of 2008. Their vodka and gin are seen behind many bartops in the Northwest and, as of this weekend, they have released a limited edition flavored moonshine series, including the See 7 Stars Peach Pie Moonshine. Built on a 100-year-old mash bill that was sourced from South Carolina to result in the “smoothest sipping corn whisky West of the Mississippi,” this white dog whisky is true to moonshine and still true to the Northwest using Columbia Basin corn and Washington malted barley. The rich and grainy moonshine is then elevated with the essence of peaches and roundness of pie crust, bringing about a local spirit that will excite whiskey lovers in a snifter and ski bunnies in their schnapps flasks.
