Tickets for the highly anticipated event, sponsored by Elysian Brewing, are on sale now!
What: Tickets are now on sale for the 17th Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival (GPBF) presented by The Vera Project, which is returning in-person after going virtual last year. Taking place at the Seattle Center on October 1 and 2, the pumpkin-packed event features more than 80+ pumpkin and seasonal beers from near and far, including 20 or so from Seattle’s own Elysian Brewing. The event is open to people ages 21 and up.
During each session of GPBF, a giant, several-hundred-pound pumpkin is scooped, scorched, filled with pumpkin beer, sealed, conditioned, and then tapped at the fest for all to enjoy.
In addition to the best pumpkin brews, the event will also feature local food trucks, Chaotic Noise Marching Corps, and well-known DJs. A sea of orange is sure to flood the Seattle Center, as guests are encouraged to embrace the pumpkin theme.
One week prior on Saturday, September 25th, the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off – which is synonymous with the GPBF – will also return to Elysian Brewing in Georgetown. Free and open to all ages, the weigh-off will feature the biggest and best pumpkins grown from local farmers, giving locals a glimpse at the thriving agriculture community in Washington. The winning pumpkin will receive the honor of being filled with pumpkin beer and tapped at the fest for all to enjoy.
100% of the proceeds from the festival will directly benefit The Vera Project, an all-ages nonprofit space dedicated to fostering personal and community transformation through collaborative engagement in music and art.
