Welcome to the Daily Sip, our day-to-day suggestions for how to spend your waking hours in the world of libations, from juice and tea to wine, beer and more.

CIDER TUESDAY: Finnriver Farm & Cidery Sparkling Black Currant Semi-Sweet Cider

Born and raised on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, Finnriver ciders are homegrown on the 33 acre property, handcrafted and produced with land stewardship through organic agriculture, habitat restoration and beyond. The farm itself is certified organic and salmon safe and offers the cidery many labors of the land to work with from apples and pears to blueberries and, in this case, black currants. Produced in the barn on the farm from heirloom and organic dessert apples, the Finnriver Sparkling Black Currant cider is light in weight but dense in the sweet then tart black currant fruit and rich, apple texture. The sparkling characteristic adds to the easily palatable flavors of the berry fruit and sweet apple.
