Eaglemount Wine and Cider Rhubarb

by | Nov 3, 2015

Founded in 2006, Eaglemount Wine and Cider is just shy of celebrating its first decade of award-winning wines and hard ciders. However, the winery’s history extends beyond the 21st, and even the 20th, century—it is located on an original 1883 homestead on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. With roots running deep and cidermakers blending heirloom apples with local ingredients such as honey from nearby Sequim and quince from the San Juan Islands, each sip suggests a union of history and modernity.

Eaglemount’s Rhubarb Cider utilizes the sweet yet punchy character of a rhubarb-apple dichotomy to maintain this reputation. The fruity sipper radiates a peachy pink hue and is both refined and refreshing. With 50 percent apple wine and 50 percent rhubarb wine, it’s the perfect starter for a cider novice, or the unique addition for a cider aficionado.
