Westcott Bay Traditional Dry Cider

by | Jun 16, 2015

From the moment you crack open the pop-top of the Traditional Dry cider by Westcott Bay Cider on Washington’s San Juan Island, you can smell the handpicked apple aroma in the air. Featuring only the apple juice squeezed from the Westcott Bay orchard’s apples (plus some added sulfites), the fermented juice is an apple takeover of your taste buds. This traditional dry style of cider gives bitter lovers a resonating aftertaste and sweet fans fruit purity. The initial sweetness that punches your senses quickly fades into a lingering note of apple, earth and mineral. It is a full-bodied bittersweet bruiser and is recommended to either be enjoyed with a chill and by itself, or with a small pairing of seafood, meat, fruit or cheese. Toting a 6.8 percent ABV, Westcott Bay has produced a stunningly crisp dry cider for all to enjoy—with or without food.
