2018 Black Label Reserve Merlot
Succession Wines | Manson, Wash.

While cocoa, spices and vanilla connect with dark cherry to supply the expected richness, bright, tart red fruit leans that out a bit. In the end, this medium-bodied Merlot from Candy Mountain Vineyard in the Yakima Valley is smooth and soft on the palate, with acidity, moderate tannin and red berry in the finish.
Price: $68
