WINE WEDNESDAY: Sleight of Hand Cellars 2012 The Magician Riesling

Since 2007, Sleight of Hands Cellars has been producing “simply magical wines” and catching the eyes of fellow necromancers across the nation (see: Neil Patrick Harris’ devotion to the brand) with their Walla Walla-based winery and magnetic co-owner/winemaker, Trey Busch. The 2012 vintage of The Magician from Evergreen Vineyard continues in the wine’s solid consistency, with plenty of pear and apple fruit tones, zested with lemon. A strong twinge of mineral and juicy acid add to the body, a respected characteristics of the white-wine wielding Evergreen Vineyard. Bright, light and aromatic, the wine finishes crisp and mostly dry.
