Brandy Peak Distillery Blackberry Liqueur

by | Jan 24, 2014

Brandy Peak Distillery is Southern Oregon’s oldest legal distillery. Opening in 1993 with the country’s only two legal “wood-fired pot stills,” the Brookings, Ore., distillery began their first run of brandies a year later on their 57-acre lot, amidst wild blackberry bushes, shrubs and more. It was only fitting to produce a blackberry liqueur from the wild, sun-ripened blackberries on the property, which the folks at Brandy Peak believe embodies the summertime on the Oregon Coast— with the “abundance and fragrance” of this luscious berry. Essentially bottled berries with a subtle kick of distillation, the Blackberry Liqueur is a potent yet balanced elixir to add to your favorite cocktail for an extra dose of Oregon fruit.

The liqueur is also packed into the custom-made blackberry liqueur trufles of Eugene, Ore.’s, Euphoria Chocolate Company for only $8.50. But can you really put a price tag on delicious?
