The Tao of Tea Certified Organic Tulsi Lavender

by | Oct 7, 2013

You might know Portland’s micro-teabrewery The Tao of Tea for their three teahouses throughout the city, for their tea accessories, pots, cups or utensils, for their teas by origin (from Sri Lanka and China to Nepal and Taiwan) or by category (chai, black, oolong, old growth teas and more) or, now, for their bottled retail sold cold-served teas. Small batch microbrewed, the unsweetened teas are only organic, with full leaf teas and herbs used. The Tulsi Lavender is a blend of three different Tulsi plant varietals and lavender flowers. Caffeine free, the tea is cooling and uplifting, bright with aromatics and floral power. As an added plus, Tulsi is considered to be an adaptogen, which means it helps relax the body especially after prolonged emotional or physical stress. Fantastic after a weekend of fresh hops, pumpkin beers and more!
