Taste Washington Is Back: March 23 & 24!

by | Mar 5, 2013

The nation’s largest single-region wine and food festival is returning to CenturyLink Field Event Center on Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday, March 24th for the 16th year.

Put on by Seattle’s Convention and Visitors Bureau (SCVB) and the Washington State Wine Commission (WSWC), more than 225 Washington wineries will pour traditional favorites as well as new releases, from Merlot and Syrah to Viognier and Chardonnay from 1:00-5:00 pm both days.

Taste Washington also features 60 top local restaurants serving up mouthwatering bites all weekend. From savory dishes to fresh oysters to artisan cheese and decadent desserts, chefs will be delighted to suggest wines to pair with their culinary creations.

From 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on both days, top national wine personalities and sommeliers will sit down in a panel format to discuss wine matters in the educational seminars. Topics for the seminars showcase various aspects of Washington wine, as well as wine and food pairing demonstrations by renowned chefs. More information and tickets for the seminars can be found online.

To add to that, the Viking Chef Stage is offering celebrity chef demonstrations involving local chefs Perry Mascitti of the Tulalip Resort Casino, Bobby Moore of the Barking Frog, Jason Wilson of CRUSH, Matt Brandsey of El Gaucho Seattle and Brian Clevenger of Tavolàta. Schedule and details will be available online soon.

The opportunity to enhance your experience is there as well through VIP tickets. For $145, the perks include an extra hour to savor the event, a VIP swag bag, access to the Barrel Room – the exclusive VIP ticket holder and sponsor lounge hosted by the Tulalip Resort and Casino, exclusive giveaways each day during the VIP hour and more surprises to come! If you want to brush up on your casino playing skills beforehand, you may want to check out lpe88 kasino to see how you can up your game playing, so you can hopefully come out on top. There are so many online casino games these days, so people should be able to play a selection of different players. Maybe some people could also consider visiting joker 123 to see what casino games they have on offer. Hopefully, all of this practice will pay off.

Regular admission tickets run for $80 a pop and can be purchased online or at one of the following Seattle-area wine retailers:

Arista Wine Cellars (Edmonds)
