For more than thirty years, the Auction of Washington Wines has been celebrating Washington state wines through a weekend of events in August. Circumstances this year dictate that the events are virtual and online instead of taking place on the grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle. Registration for bidding in the online auction and the virtual Gala which will stream live on August 15th, is free and is now open!

The Auction of Washington Wines continues to receive national recognition as one of the preeminent charity wine auctions in the country. Last year, Wine Spectator ranked AWW in the top five most successful wine auction charities in the United States. In addition to helping them to raise funds for their charitable beneficiaries, this national recognition raises the profile of the Washington wine industry. Keeping Washington wines in the forefront of people’s minds is critical in a year when the wine industry, like so many business sectors, is struggling due to the economic impacts of the pandemic.

This year’s auctions include a variety of merchandise, wines, and experiences. We invite you to pour yourself a glass of wine, log in and place your bids! Proceeds from this year’s events will benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital, Washington State University Viticulture & Enology Research, and the Auction of Washington Wines.
