Julianne Moore, Florence Welch, Christina Hendricks—full-bodied, boisterous and robust imperial red(head)s comparable to the big red that was one of the summer hits from Tacoma, Wash.’s new Narrows Brewing Company. Since opening in mid-July, Narrows has launched their wholesale market with this particular red ale. Now kegged and available in growler and growlerettes, the Imperial Red Ale is a full-bodied, boisterous and robust beer to take take notice of (much like the leading ladies listed above). Round and rich in sweet caramel malts, the hops are assertive and take charge of the finish that is crisp and bold.
