Formed in the foothills of central Washington in the Summer of 2015, the Killdeer String Band has been making a name for itself both regionally and beyond with their signature brand of energetic acoustic music. Performing at farmer’s markets, ale houses, folk festivals and other cultural events, the Killdeer String Band performs a refreshing blend original and traditional folk styles ranging from Celtic to gypsy, and Bavarian to bluegrass. Whether it’s an Irish jig or an instrumental cover of Hey Jude, the Killdeer String Band explores the delicious boundaries of traditional acoustic music.
