Celebrate Washington Wine Month with Sip NW & Pan Pacific Hotel!

by | Mar 5, 2013

In honor of Washington Wine Month, Sip Northwest and Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle are partnering to bring you Tuesday Tastings, a chance to acquaint yourself with a new local winery each and every week in March.

Beginning with Woodinville’s William Church Winery Tuesday, March 5, taste the distinctive goûts de terroir expressed by Walla Walla’s Sleight of Hand Cellars, Yakima’s Treveri and Richland’s Sonoris Wines. Sip Northwest will be joined at the Pan Pacific Hotel’s Lobby Bar by the four wineries’ respective winemakers: Marcus Rafanelli (March 5), Trey Busch (March 12), Christian Grieb (March 19) and Hilary Sjolund (March 26). Hopefully, we’ll also be joined by you!

The Lobby Bar will offer an extended happy hour every Tuesday for the event, providing the perfect environment to meet and get to know the featured winemakers. Locally sourced appetizers will be available to complement tastings.

The series focuses on diversity in Washington wine and draws from all corners of the wine map, from robust reds to White House-worthy sparkling wines. The goal is to connect us all with local standouts deserving of our attention. The tech-savvy, green-thinking Pan Pacific Hotel is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of cutting-edge wine as you discuss the trends and practices that are shaping Washington into one of the world’s most respected wine regions. If you fall in love with a particular wine at Tuesday Tastings? Have a whole glass, or take a bottle home.
